Built to order. Typically ships in 3–4 weeks.
The backbone for large, node-dense aircraft.
Large multicopters, VTOLs, helicopters and optionally piloted aircraft can carry dozens of CAN devices across a long airframe. The HubNODE Large gives them a single, sealed distribution point. Signal Only fans CAN H and CAN L out to 15 nodes. Signal + Power carries CAN H, CAN L, power and ground to 7 nodes. Both run through one 30-pin LEMO M-series receptacle, the same connector family certifiable UAS autopilots use. It's the same passive, nothing-to-fail design as the rest of the family, scaled for aircraft where a bus fault means a grounded vehicle.
Key features
- Signal Only: 15-way CAN distribution · Signal + Power: 7-way CAN + power + ground. Each pin group is a plain common bus, so you decide which line runs on which group
- One 30-pin LEMO M-series receptacle for one-plug service and inspection: IP68, ratchet locking, 300 g shock rated
- No active electronics: nothing to power, update or fail
- No built-in termination: terminate the bus at the mating connector, exactly where your architecture needs it
- Works with DroneCAN, Cyphal, CANopen, J1939 and any other CAN protocol
- Potted, green anodized aluminum case engineered to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810H environmental standards; −10 °C to +55 °C operating
- Pairs with PowerNODE converters to feed regulated power to every node
- Made in our FAA-approved manufacturing facility
Typical uses: large multicopters, VTOLs and helicopters · optionally piloted aircraft · full CAN ESC / servo / sensor networks · dual-bus redundant architectures (one hub per bus)

About Node
Built like avionics, because that's what we build. Node is an avionics manufacturer holding FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA), and we've built avionics for general aviation and OEM customers for 35 years. For more than a decade we've also flown large unmanned systems: multicopters, VTOLs, helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Every Node Electronics part is made in our FAA-approved manufacturing facility, housed in anodized aluminum, fully potted, and engineered to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810H environmental standards, the same standards certifiable UAS autopilots are built to. It's the hardware the unmanned and optionally piloted industry needs when "good enough for a hobby build" isn't.
